| Service was good and I was happy about the fact that there is a shop right next to my home. However, my father is a mechanic and he told me I was being ripped off so I called back and was assured by the guy I left my car with that the price you guys were charging me was comparable to other shops & I didn't need to shop around. Post service I got two other quotes from reputable shops to make sure the price was comparable as I planned to continue using your services, however, I was sad to find out I was ripped off ): Both quotes came in & around the $240-280 range for the same service, which you charged me $474 for. |
| Shop Comment I'm sorry to hear you feel as though you were ripped off, as I assured you we do not operate in that manner. I actually encouraged you to shop around after our conversation because I found your acquisition hasty and ill-informed. Unfortunately prices you can find on the internet aren't the same as ones you find in town from reputable suppliers. I searched and found the absolute best deal on that multi-function switch I could that day. Where some other suppliers were still double in cost. Also, I believe you're forgetting to mention that we waived the diagnostic fee for testing all the electrical circuits and finding out the cause of your issue in the first place, or that there were multiple bulbs replaced as well. The only one you were charged for being the low beam head light. Sad to see this review coming two weeks after the repair and shortly after we couldn't break away to jump start your car in the middle of our lunch hours just last week. We've also started your car before when your starter was locked up, helped you get back on track that day and diagnosed why it wouldn't start. We didn't charge you anything to come start it at your door step, nor did we receive the opportunity to fix it later. With every chance to refuse service prior to work being completed, if you truly felt like you were being ripped off? You could have ceased the repair. We diagnosed your problem, gave you a ride to work, fixed the issue, and got your car back to you in the same day. I'm sorry to hear you're still unsatisfied with our services.
